Welcome to the Fifth Annual Park City Extreme Cup July 31 - August 2nd, 2008
Our tournament is the perfect opportunity for teams preparing for competitive soccer in the Fall. Come play in the mountain air in beautiful Park City, Utah. The Three Day Tournament will begin July 31 2008, Thursday through Saturday. Special scheduling arrangements for out of town teams can be accommodated.

Park City is a resort town with plenty to do in the summer! Most age groups will play in divisions of 8 teams. Each team is guaranteed three (3) games. Bracket play will consist of three (3) games on Thursday and Friday. Semi-Final games are played on Saturday morning, and the Finals are Saturday afternoon. Awards will be presented to teams finishing in 1st and 2nd place in their Bracket. Both Gold and Silver Brackets will be created whenever possible.
Eight borrowed players will be allowed (six for U10 and U11). Maximum roster size is 18 players for Under-12 through Under-17. and 15 for Under 10 and Under-11).

Note 1: You must register for the age group your team will play in during the fall of 2008.
Note 2: The tournament committee will make every possible effort to create a silver and a gold bracket in which winners will be awarded in both brackets for 1st and 2nd place, however, the committee reserves the right to combine brackets when necessary.
How to Apply for Acceptance: If you would like to be considered for participation, please complete the on-line tournament application. Payment of the application fee may be made by either Cashier's Check or Check made payable to Park City Extreme or by Credit Card. Our on-line system will accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express. Credit cards will not be charged until the team has been accepted into the tournament. Applications will not be considered submitted and complete until either a check has been received or a credit card payment has been authorized. Entry fees are:

Entries submitted after July 1, 2008 will not be considered for acceptance but may be retained for a wait list for consideration if an accepted team drops. Entries whose payment is not received by July 1, 2008 will be considered late entries. If paying by check the completed Cashiers Check or check (with team, gender, and age group noted on the check) must be mailed to:
- Refunds will be made to all teams not accepted (Charges will not be made or checks deposited until teams acceptance is issued).
- Refunds will be made if the tournament is cancelled due to weather or Acts of God, but approximately one-third of the entry fee will be retained.
- Teams that drop in writing prior to the July 1st entry deadline will be given refunds minus a $50.00 administration fee. No refunds will be granted for teams dropping after July 1st.
- Team selections are made based upon an evaluation of their record. State and Regional results as well as results in major tournaments. League results and overall record will be used for evaluation.
Acceptance notifications will be e-mailed by July 6, 2008. Early acceptance may be granted for teams traveling from outside Utah, with the decision made within two (2) weeks after receiving the application provided the application and payment is received no later than June 1, 2008.
Applications will be accepted from teams affiliated with USYSA, AYSO,US Club Soccer, and FIFA affiliated youth soccer associations outside of the United States. Teams must declare their affiliation on the application form. Once declared, teams will not be allowed to participate if using documentation other than from the declared affiliation.
Registration and Scheduling: There will be a MANDATORY ”IN PERSON” REGISTRATION on Wednesday, July 29th unless other prior arrangements are made with the tournament director at least one week in advance. Failure to register in person will result in disqualification.
Either 2007/2008 or 2008/2009 player identification cards, UYSA Participant registration form, and shin guards are required for each player. For USYS teams not affiliated with UYSA, travel papers approved by your state association are required; for US Club, approved team rosters must be presented. For International entrants, written permission to travel will be required from your governing body. For all teams, medical release forms are required (they are included on the UYSA participant registration form). There will be no double rostering of players on teams participating in the tournament.
Game schedules will be adjusted to accommodate individual teams or individual coaching conflicts to the best of our ability but will not be guaranteed.
All team travel arrangements must be made to include participation in the mandatory registration on Wednesday evening (unless on-field check in is arranged in advance) and three (3) bracket games – one on Thursday and two on Friday or two on Thursday and one on Friday. The earliest bracket games begin at 8:00 a.m. The last final on Saturday will begin at 4:00 p.m.
We will make special arrangements for out of state teams that are traveling on Thursday if notified in writing prior to scheduling.
